Our school posts the decision on the portal.

The account you created when your child applied has a 'decision' tab. Right now it says the decision will be there on X date at X time.

For our first son, it was there at that exact time. Not a minute late, not a minute early. We saw it in the portal before we received anything in the mail.

Answering my own question in case it helps others: I logged into our admission portal and decision is not posted there either. But I closely reread what it said there and it says, “ Decisions for completed applicants in the Class of 2026 will be mailed on February 18, 2022.”

Ugh. So I guess they were only MAILED today.

We all have a few more days of waiting, elongated by the fact that there is no mail delivery on Monday since that is a federal holiday. Humph.


I’m sorry, PP. Surprised they aren’t emailing. Are they trying to be retro and send big envelopes and small envelopes?


I think they will also email. They did last year.

Haha, I know. I am old enough to remember the skinny vs fat envelope thing too.

My understanding is that SJC mails out decisions next Thursday (2/24) and updates the portal on Friday (2/25).
