Rainbow Rowell's books are great in audio

So are Neil Gaiman, he does them himself - highly recommend the Graveyard Book

I like to hunt around for books read by David Tenant too, and discovered the Wizards of Once series - it's middle grade but I love listening to him tell the stories.

I listened to the Raven Cycle books by Maggie Stiefvater and thought both the books and the narrator were incredible. Started with my tween, who loved them, but is currently too busy to listen to more. I’ve moved on to the linked series on my own.

The aubrey and maturin books (master and commander) are absolutely great as audiobooks! Great narrator, fascinating, quite funny at times, great character development. And there are a tone in the series.

Agree, but my audio options are limited at the library. Plus, I have an audible subscription with 11 credits. And if you cancel, you lose them all. So I keep it going...


You can pause the audible subscription until you use them up.

Agree with both these posters. Most audiobooks from the library, but there are some you can’t get from from the library, like Project Hail mary, which was so good.
