I agree, but I’ll tell you as a teacher I watch this year after year. Almost all are the girls sending them to each other. Yesterday I saw a couple of HS boys get nasty texts from girls because they didn’t send any. I only know because the boys would announce it in class, “Jane is mad and keeps texting that I didn’t send a candy gram” then they shrug it off and keep talking with friends.
Tell your daughters to arrange them with friends if they all want to get them. Middle and high school boys don’t care about this and certainly don’t want the attention of an entire class by sending a girl candy.
Yes, of course they are sent to friends! They’re not sent to indicate you “like” someone, if that’s what you thought?
