They specifically do not want you to address the cards. You’re only supposed to sign your kid’s name. They want to be able to quickly hand out cards not spend an eternity matching each card to a specific child.

I wouldn't either. I'd love to eat it. I love homemade baked goods.

Store bought cards w dum dums taped on them for my 1st grader’s classmates+teacher
Store bought cards w nothing attached for my prek kid whose school requested no candy/treats

A card with a piece of candy stuck to it. Candy + a toy would feel like overkill for me. Teachers get the same thing.

This made me feel better because we completely forgot about the teacher. But I'm guessing she wouldn't want heart-shaped slime, which is what DD gave the rest of her classmates.

Store-bought cards, one kid's came with stickers and one with little glow sticks. They look extremely cheap and crappy but my kids were thrilled and it was easy. We did send them in for the teachers as well. We weren't allowed to send food or candy and there was no ask for class party stuff.

Kid 2 (2) - candy
Teachers - chocolates

We put stickers and candy (3 Hershey’s kisses) in a little bag where my kid signed her name.
