I sort of regret the cookies because they wound up being hard to package (and I had to do that part on my own) and I wonder if people will just throw them away as a baked good from a stranger. But I mostly did it so we'd have an activity together and I just wasn't up for a crafty project. I bet the other kids will just give candy or toys like people are saying on here and my kid will let me know we did it "wrong." Sigh. This aspect of parenting is very hard for me -- I feel like I never quite get it right. I also think most of her classmates have older siblings so the parents know the drill and I very much do not. Oh well! I tried.
I wouldn’t throw your cookies away. We love baked goods and are not germaphobes.
