OP here. We like very traditional and easy names.

OP here. He will be both if we go with that name. I’m assuming some will call him Ollie.

Owen and Henry go the best with Connor, without being too matchy.

I prefer Connor + Henry
Conner + Benji

I also like Oliver but always think of the play

OP here. We would use the nn Charlie.

Benjamin would be nn Ben. We do not like Benji.

I'm the first PP who said it depends on your last name. I like Benjamin/Ben a lot, but not if your last name is, for example, Beckett or Bennett or something. That's why I think last name matters.

Lol- I have a Charles/Charlie. His brother calls him Chuck or Chas when they're bickering.

OP- like the other poster, people generally just call him Charlie, never Charles. But I'm glad his proper name is Charles.

Don't call him by his middle name. I know two kids where they attempted to do that and it seems like a constant source of confusion.

Anonymous wrote:Our first sons name is Connor. We are trying to pick a name for our second son and are considering the names below

- Owen -- I find this name a little whiny
- Caleb -- too singsongy with Connor
- Henry -- very good
- Oliver -- feels like a very different style, or maybe it's the same "o" sound that I don't like
- Benjamin -- very good

So, Benjamin or Henry get my vote!
