Even if he wasn't a high school kid, the response was a personal attack on a citizen because he retweeted a news story with his commentary on it. The fact that the REPORTER (not the kid) later issued a correction is irrelevant.

The fact that Youngkin's team felt that the appropriate reaction to a citizen with an opinion is to attack them personally is the problem here. And this was the Governor's official email account.

The good news is that voters probably won't stay home again and this will be the end of the red resurgence in VA.

Thank you- I was wondering why I felt uncomfortable about this. It's a mean-spirited personal attack to something that is just a re-tweet + opinion. You can almost hear them adding "well you're an ugly poopy face " at the end.

And, even though he says, "Views are mine," his twitter feed is all political and in support of anything associated with the Dem Party. And, when someone calls him out for one of his tweets, he claims that he is being attacked....So, in essence, the Democratic Party is more than happy to have him tweet on behalf of their causes, but cry foul when he is called out and accuse others of attacking him.

This still doesn't excuse them attacking him. He is 17, and he is using his own account. Doesn't Youngkin have a son the same age? I wonder how he would feel if someone did this to his son.

Takes away mask mandate & gets (negative) national news attention attention because of a nutso parent & her guns.

Does a photo op pr visit to the grocery store in Alexandria & gets heckled. The heckler gets more coverage than the reason for his visit.

His team bullies a teen online in public.

And, I have to add..... the position they are talking about has been around a whopping 5 years. It was created in 2016, so we are not talking about a decades old position.


You’re fixating on minor details. The historian was wrong about her former office being turned into a family room. The historian’s position had only existed for 5 years. Fine.

The Youngkin administration still dismantled the exhibit in the former slaves’ kitchen and emptied the historian’s office without saying a word to her. That’s how she found out they didn’t want her there. That’s the story.


Quite honestly, we don't know that to be true. This historian has not spoken publicly or given a reason for her resignation. All we have are media accounts, which we are finding are not correct.
