You'll never know. She may consider him dead for all we know. I stayed with someone that cheated but couldn't stand him. I put myself and my finances first, and yes often the guy thinks the woman forgave him. Except in reality she praying for a banana peel.

Being blindsided by cheating in a loving marriage does a real traumatic number on you—even when the OW was ugly. Lol So I can see why she got caught up in plastic surgery. I’m sure her self-esteem tanked. Being in the public eye is that much worse.

I’m not surprised only because I know of many marriages I admired with men that for all purposes seemed to be great family men and devoted husbands have an affair at midlife. If they can work through it with therapy and he gets help on his own there is a lot of hope for them.


And what doesn’t help that trauma is being judged by people outside of the marriage. Beyoncé has spoken about the shame and abuse people put on a woman who chooses to stay in a marriage with infidelity, no matter the reason or the work done by the spouse to change.


Could care less, she does not represent my moral compass.

It's best not to go with married people. When someone does that they have deep rooted problems as well. Time to get to therapy.

That's something one should really research. Look at Michael Jackson, Janet, and Latoya. All botched and horrifying. I crack up at how phony Hollywood still runs story of how beautiful those horrifying women are. Or like Wendy. W. though I don't know what she has had done. I do know she looks like a Morlock.

Did Arnold marry the maid? Did Ben marry the nanny? Did Tiger marry the hooker/waitress? That ain't love, honey. Though I'm sure many things were uttered to keep their situations going. It's best not to expect love and marriage from an already married man.

Many men cheat for variety and escapism and some messed up insecurities they have with aging. 65% will report they love their wives and are happy in their marriages. It's a 'them' problem, not a 'we' problem. When women cheat, it is more often about an exit affair. Women and men fundamentally approach sex differently. All of the sex industries: prostitution, porn, high paid escorts, red light districts are designed for men because men can have sex with no love. Women may think they can but always catch the feels.

I find it amusing that the argument is that the man can love the OW, but a cheating man can't love his wife. This is some weird Bridges of Madison County fantasy with no insight into the cheating sex industry like online affair websites, etc.


It's not uncommon for cheating to occur when a wife is preoccupied with pregnancy/kids, ill parents, etc. It's sick but it is when marriages are most ripe for infidelity because men run scared and often sex grows temporarily stagnant at home. Add in a guy that got rich over time and now has women looking for that $ and his own grown sense of entitlement that grows from achieving that success.

Nobody knows what went on in their marriage or the type of therapy he got and the changes he made, and the additional work they did on their marriage. But, their kids were extremely happy and home life was stable so they did a very good job of shielding them from this major crisis in their marriage. Some marriages grow stronger after being blown apart like this and rebuilding. That many kids is going to strain any marriage.

I thought her sister had a bad NJ but Jennifer's recent nose job is worse. Clearly she had already had one- but for them to have to re-break it to make that wonky curve- it has really collapsed the bridge.

Always got a closet-perve vibe from the hubby- like his is 'acting respectful' but not really.

It's still traumatic. I wouldn't just be over it, even 10 years later.


You never get over it.

For the rest of your life, it’s still there.

That’s what all married men and women cheaters do to their spouses. Complete traumatize them and destroy trust.

She can’t stand Margaret because since their first season Margaret has threatened to tell the story of Bill cheating.
