Nobody wants secret service police crawling over the main artery road in their neighborhood.

Here’s a tip: if you don’t like people talking about something, you can just ignore it.

Exactly. He’s no longer in government. If need be he should purchase a more tactically east to defend home. People here posting have to slow down for all the government vehicles parked willy nilly hanging out of his driveway since he lives on a main artery. He should hire his own security. I think he’s under investigation though.

Why should anyone to slow down for the parked government vehicles on Ferwood? One can barely reach 20 mph between the stop sign and the red light.

Totally agreed. This is not "Metropolitan DC Local Politics". This is someone's personal security notwithstanding his politics or draft dodging status.

You are assuming that he’s under protection and not investigation. Which could be the wrong assumption.

It still none of your business.

It became our business the day he took a government paycheck. As a taxpayer I don’t want to pay for protection for Trump or any of his lackeys. If gossiping about the goings on at his home makes him feel less secure so be it. I’m hoping he’s under investigation though.

No. Government employees should be protected from crazy nutjobs who want to kill them, because even the kindest person in any position of visibility will have credible threats made against them at some point. It's just the nature of things. So we need to protect everyone in those high-visibility positions, even the ones who are themselves crazy nutjobs.

And, yes, we've got to assume it's a safety issue.

Is Bolton a government employee still? I thought he was done.

Wrong. The business of government is in fact everyone’s business.
