This is exactly what the site Upwork was created for. Pay $18/hour and you will have lots of qualified people (women, really) apply for this. I've been using Upwork in my business for about 12 years.

I was SAHM who worked part-time for 1 1/2 yrs. It was great. I made a little money and it helped me put something on my resume for when I went back to WOHM full-time instead of having a big gap. The two of you are pretty clueless. This is the right opportunity for someone right now. OP is smart to get mature, motivated SAHM.

I definitely think you could find someone who would want this arrangement. Do you know any Mormons? You could ask someone to post it to a Facebook group they have for their congregation.
Obviously don’t be discriminatory but I think that could be a decent place to start.

+1. I would have been interested in this when I was a sahm. I did very part time ESL tutoring for a number of years just so I wouldn’t have a huge gap on my resume.

I'd be interested. I spend at least 3-6 hours doing the kind of thins you described, but I do them for free for a couple volunteer groups I'm a part of. Its made me realize I have the time to do some work, though I have young kids still at home so the flexibility of being a volunteer has been nice. I'm not ready to commit to working set hours a day, but I can certainly get something done in the evening and have it to you same day or early the next morning.

You could try Upwork, OP, though you won’t be able to filter on SAHM.
I’m a SAHM of 5 yo and 2 yo and I’ve been doing things on Upwork for about 4 years. I don’t care too much about the money, but at this point my rate is $25/hr. When I first started on the platform, my rate was $10, just to get traction. I only do things remotely and totally on my own schedule - I can’t sign up for regular work hours, phone calls, etc. A SAHM of school age kids can probably commit to more regular work hours.

I'd suggest posting on a local mom's group or Nextdoor.
As you can see from the responses here, some will be insulted and others will be happy for the opportunity.

OP, I think you are right to look at SAHM. I’m so tired of all the assumptions that SAHMs can’t be bothered to work. As long as you are paying fairly snd flexible, you should have no trouble finding a mature, motivated and experienced employee. Also, moms are great multi-tasters.

I found someone amazing a couple of years ago this way. A career changer who needed a break and job flexibility. We paid 20/hr to start and bumped up to $25 quickly because of the skill level. She worked 0-30 hours a week depending on her schedule preference. She wasn’t ever up for over 30 hours and we never had too little work for her to come in, so the minimum was set by her.
She’s sadly moved on and we’ll have to look again soon…

I saw a job posting recently that was paying for 10-15 hours per week BUT you had to be available for 40 hrs. WTF.
OP, If you want someone good, you’ll need to offer set hours and a great hourly wage. You also can’t expect someone to jump in and understand everything immediately, so 3-6 hours seems way too low.

Seems like you’re getting some bites now, OP, but I’d also recommend posting a short job description on freelancer sites like UpWork or fivver.
My friend hired someone to do household admin tasks for her ~3-5 hours / week (doctor’s apt scheduling, some emails, contractor coordination, etc.) when she was going flat out for a promotion at work. This person still needed to be a relatively decent writer and very well-organized, but it wasn’t a huge commitment.
