"According to a pet owners survey, there were approximately 89.7 million dogs owned in the United States in 2017. This is an increase of over 20 million since the beginning of the survey period in 2000, when around 68 million dogs were owned in the United States."

Also, since we take our cats/pets on road-trips we would need a bigger car. My brother suggested a Mercedes Sprinter van but I am holding out for the Tesla cyber truck.

We got 2 ragdolls in late 2020. They're great but they seem to track poop around the house? Am I doing something wrong? We have a litter robot so it stays clean. They aren't pooping on the floor but I think it must cling to their fur or something. They are very finicky eaters so I don't think I could consider changing their food. Do you have any ideas? Do I need to give their bottoms a buzz cut?

You should take your ragdolls to the groomers for a sanitary cut. I take mine to the local PetSmart (in MA not DC) where there is a wonderful cat groomer. Took the two boys this past Friday for a bath, sanitary cut on their bottoms, nail trim, etc. Will take the two girls , Ragdoll and Burmese, on Monday. The Burmese is very easy care with a short coat but all my cats love the grooming so she gets to go.

One of my boys tends to get a lot of mattes during spring shedding season, then he gets taken to the vet for an all over haircut for the summer. I think he is so big with too much hair so it is a relief and he is so much more comfortable and his fur manageable.
