Hmmm, like both and don’t really compare the two. Happy to enjoy each for what it is.

Sushi, ever since I was a kid. My kids also prefer sushi and smoked salmon to cooked fish.

I love seafood and will happily eat it raw or cooked, but sashimi is my favorite.

I am a huge foodie. For whatever reason, sushi does nothing for me. I have immense respect for the craft, and have tried the good stuff. Something about it is just not satisfying. It doesn’t help that wasabi is my only true flavor aversion.

Both-I wouldn’t want cooked sushi, but I also wouldn’t want raw fish in fish tacos. Unless it’s tuna poke…but I digress. I love fish of all persuasions!

The ginger is supposed to be a folk remedy to keep you from getting the tapeworms. Sushi is worth it to me!!

Almost everything you eat (everything maybe?) in the US is flash-frozen upon catch, so at worst you would eat a dead worm that shouldn't cause any issues.

Yes agree! So worth the tiny tiny risk. You could get a tapeworm from a rare steak but no one seems to worry about that.

Always cooked. I will only eat smoked salmon, never raw. NEVER. I dislike it beyond anything.

Sushi hands down!! Tastes so fresh and sweet. I avoid cooked fish b.c it tastes more "fishy"

Same. I love seafood generally, but I won't eat cooked salmon. Love it as sushi/sashimi/lox.

Do you like other kinds of cooked fish? I'm not a fan of cooked salmon, either.

PP here, I do like other kinds of cooked fish. There's something about salmon I just don't like when cooked.
