The rest of the world has moved on; we’re done with that mask policing stuff. Wear a mask if you want; don’t wear a mask if you don’t. Nobody cares.

If a private business requires you to wear a mask then you wear a mask or stay out. Simple.

Every team has one lunatic parent that believes their kid is the top player in the age group and says it enough so others might believe too lol.

I do think the worst parents are those with negative comments towards other players.

I we have some parents who sit too close to the field of play or behind goals and act like jerks when a coach or referee or other spectators tell them they can’t sit there.

Lol.

For some reason this reminded me of a Reddit soccer thread where a guy was saying that he could usually dribble past 2 or 3 defenders but could never seem to shake the 4th. The number of people telling him to consider maybe passing from time to time was delightful.

LOL, totally agree. DD and I just talking yesterday about some of the more poorly performed parents on her team and how their daughters are faring now that many of them are in college. How did she know they were poorly behaved? Because a few of them would yell at her during games. So ridiculous.

We had a parent on our team (huge a-hole) who would make comments to other kids on the team. Mine is probably top 3 on a competitive team and one day was just having a tough day. Nothing was going right. A parent on our team told my kid "You are killing us. We need you to get your head in the game and pick it up!". I walked over and had a discussion with the parent and it never happened again. His kid was cut last year and it's been great. There are a few teams that have a sideline full of embarrassing parents. I couldn't handle listening to people who have no clue not shut up for an entire game.
