BSC Futsal sucks too. Courts are small and refs don’t know which lines to use since there are so many.

I’ve lived in these areas. It’s not that people are better winter weather drivers. It’s just that they get more practice because everything doesn’t get shut down. Maybe if more places here were kept open the drivers here would get some practice.

And there were plenty of trucks and pretreating here yesterday. Certainly in the populated areas inside and around the beltway

They also have the equipment and personnel to treat and clear the roads, and residents who know how to drive in it as well. I grew up in NY. This area can’t manage this much snow as it’s coming down. Anyone out driving right now is an idiot.

Hey, Stevie from Long Island, JFK only gets 0.6 more inches of show than Dulles annually.

Go check a map, ignoramus. LI is a tiny part of NY. And even LI would have four times the number of trucks they have for snow down here.

70% of people in NY live in NYC or suburbs. They don’t drive in any more snow than people in this area, Einstein.

It’s one day of games. All your precious Messi’s and Morgan’s will be fine to miss one game. This area can’t handle snow, and no one has chains for ice unless you live on a mountain.

Let’s get a grip people. A few inches of snow is not treacherous. If you aren’t comfortable driving then stay home. I was at TSJ earlier today for a futsal game and am glad they were open. Also had a basketball game cancelled because LCPS closed all gyms this morning even though our game was before the snow even started. Sometimes it’s worth the extra money to play in leagues that use private fields

Treacherous LOL!!!!!

Idiot. You want to ignore what weather experts tell the public? Do you also LOL at Covid?

Yeah I’m laughing at your description of treacherous and a a voluntary leisure activity. Don’t go if you can’t drive slower than the speed limit.

This is how people die: all the disabled, low-IQ people employed by grocery stores and similar who stay open and tell their staff to keep working. There was a family recently who filed suit against a store for making their adult disabled DD work without a mask. She died of Covid-19.
This is a similar situation: those who can think for themselves will stay home. Those who cannot will endanger their lives.

They can go F themselves. Let’s go Brandon!
