I don’t see anything in those emails that sound sexual or like they are anything more than friendly. Maybe I missed something.

So, I'm guessing he and the wife are actually separated? Another email said he was lonely. Again, seeming to suggest the wife was living elsewhere.

You win for stupidest comment of the day. He was pres of the university and her supervisor! Of course any relationship between them needs to be prohibited or subject to rules. He is opening the school up to a potential sexual harassment suit, and part of is job is trying to prevent and addressing such claims.

This doesn’t say anything about the university or educational experience. This was just one dumb guy, nothing to do with university overall—no problems with culture, finances, internal control, etc. Great school.
