That isn't healthy. At all.

Peloton and home gyms makes it easy to never leave the house. I’m surprised you haven’t done a grocery run

There's been hardly any sun, though! I love the sun and I've hated these past couple weeks. I did get out to shovel last snow, but I'm like OP: I could stay indoors for days and days on end and not feel like I'm missing anything.

Also like OP, I love to bake with my kids.

12 days is too long in my opinion. It’s not a healthy example to set for your kids. Even if you can do it without triggering sluggishness or depression or general blahness, that doesn’t mean your kids can follow that example.

I stayed inside for a week and my dh thought I went crazy or something. I am WFH during Covid + exercise at home. I rarely watched tv before. I am addicted to Mon.- Fri. Shows now from 7-4 and working on the coach. I am very extroverted turned hermit. I get you OP!

Human beings need to be outdoors. There is nothing healthy or natural about staying in your house for 12 days, OP. And for the PP with the newborn, the same is true for you. You and the baby need to be outdoors at least once a day. Your baby needs sunlight.

I have a very sunny home. I actually shut the door of my room, strip, and sun myself every day next to a sunny window. Sometimes I sun my perineum too.

If you sun your perineum - why are you even posting here, you got it all figured out. You don't need us

Where did you buy your heated birdbath?

If you feel happy and content, keep going. I can understand this. Having a rest from all the driving was so good during the “staying home” part of the pandemic.

I can happily stay inside for days in a row.

Anonymous wrote:I wouldn't want to myself, but if you're relaxed and happy and not doing this because you're depressed or agoraphobic or whatever, that's great!

I think it's self perpetuating though. Agoraphobes think it's totally normal and they're just fine not leaving the house or interacting with other people (not on camera, not in their household), and that there's nothing wrong with them and they're just happier that way.

12 days without leaving the house sounds seriously unwell.
