Are you the idiot who thought “holy sh&t” was offensive to your religion on the college board? Get a grip.

I used to work with a software developer that would exclaim, "Hai Ram!" whenever we ran into a big problem. It's like saying, "Oh, Jesus!"

Why do you think "god damn it" refers to your god and and not all/any?

Great question.

You mean they brought the truth of the Gospel to “your people,” none, I assume, you have ever actually met?

No, they forced Christianity on my people. Physically forced. Forced the religion. The language. All of us. They didn't have a choice.

If my people were forced to believe the Norse gods, then I'm sure "Fcking Odin" would be my go to.

Because Buddha is not a god. Anyone can become a Buddha.

This. He isn't a divinity, creator, or deity.

Well I did hear a gal mutter "oh my Buddha" once, but I won't go into that any further.

Humans repeat phrases that they hear. So in America, most of us grew up hearing those sayings, therefore that’s the same we use. If people went around saying Buddha dammit, more people would repeat it and it would become a popular saying.
