When you say it weighs a bit more - can you put that in perspective for me? Like if the Paperwhite weighs about as much as a Cliff bar, how much does the Oasis weigh relative to that?
A slightly heavier Clif bar?
But seriously - I am a PP who went from 6/7th gen kindle to oasis and I think it is noticeable if you sit and hold and compare side to side, but it’s not like I had to build up to using my Oasis. I’m jot sure I can say it is *noticably* different from holding my iphone (well, better balanced shape, but talking weight). FWIW I am a 120-something lb woman, not like I have strongman superhero hands.

I'd never heard of it either but after this thread I want one. Are there any downsides to the Oasis?
Oasis poster here. It weighs a bit more than the Paperwhite, I think, and the battery life, while better than the Paperwhite, isn’t as good as they claim. But I read a lot and maybe my brightness setting is higher than most? At any rate, it charges fast so it’s not an issue.
