I've posted several times about my frustration with parents who are refusing to follow mitigation measures, but I do have to point out that my kids are home today not because they are sick or asymptomatic but because I want to see how things play out in school for a little before I send them "into the trenches."

Could someone share where the number of absences are posted? I'd love to watch those numbers. TIA!

You sound like a COVID paranoid lunatic. You'd rather your kids miss school than get a cold. Ridiculous.

why do you care?

Since I posted this, it's up to 515.

Get a hobby woman. Do you just stare at the #s all day??

Oh my god, 515 kids are asymptomatic or have at most a cold. Time to shut everything down.

Mask harder! Don't leave your house for 2 weeks. The sniffles are here.

FYI - COVID will be here forever and everyone will get it. Everyone.

Oh it's you again, hiiiii. These are not kids that asymptomatically tested in school. These are kids that had symptoms over the break and therefore got tested.

To clarify, the 515+ is COVID positive, not absences for other reasons.

This is the case by case listed in order by date. You will see about 187 reported positive 1/10. This does not include any potential "close contacts" or those waiting on tests, so the actual number of kids out is higher.

This is a summary that shows you over the past 7 days. Easy to look by school. (e.g. 75 out at Wakefield; or by other descriptors like only 3% are athletes).
