Providence, RI and the stores seemed fully stocked. No little mangos, but I didn't notice any staples that were sold out and I went to three stores (chain grocery, limited product discount, and independent).

We had zero issues finding everything minus cartoned coconut milk in the dairy section. I did hear the clerk telling people that what was left of milk and eggs were all they would have for two days. But they were not cleared out of those things yet This was Wednesday, Safeway. We have our meat delivered so I didn’t even look there there but no shelves were empty and there was barely a dent in the tp. Guessing it’s a timing thing.

And the storm definitely impacted the trucks that had full deliveries.

People are calling out sick, and people are also quitting these strenuous, low paid jobs.

No immigration. It is at an all time low.

Also we’ve lost over 800,000 citizens in this country alone. Kinda cuts into the labor force at some point.

I’m outside of Boston and there were zero whole roaster chickens in the store. No Perdue, store brand, etc.

Veggies were either out (no spinach) or very picked over.

I did score the last big package of Cottonelle.

I need to remember to go midweek.

I found almost everything I needed last night at WF hyattsville. The stocker told me the snow had impacted their regular schedule. Chicken was low but they had boneless skinless breasts and ground beef. Certainly not a crisis.

My Giant has been pretty empty. 1 Banana last week. No chicken of any kind. No bagged salad for several weeks.

?

Most stores get trucks daily, typically. Often multiple trucks a day and are restocking every single day. I'm the "AMA I work at TJs" poster and the bare shelves are due to covid, low staffing everywhere along the chain, and weather ripple effects.

Hmm. Frozen section of our store has had empty sections since Thanksgiving. Kids love their grandma’s potato casserole for major holidays. We got the last bag of frozen potatoes on Thanksgiving and haven’t seen that section restocked since. Milk has been hard to get too.

Our Giant has been pretty empty, but I was able to get most items by ordering online; same-day delivery was available.

Omg…seriously. I went to one store today at noon and there were empty shelves everywhere. I figured I would go home, listen to the news and find out a blizzard was on its way. It was not so I tried a second store. It was pretty stocked (it is a store that tends to get overlooked by people).
