I am so mad at all the single-issue parent voters who couldn’t see past their child having had hybrid or virtual school during the pandemic (even when they knew those days were over) to consider the many other issues that Youngkin and his team will impact. Why would an anti vaxxers wear PPE? A nurse who does not get vaccinated is not going to wear PPE or get other vaccines. I really do not want to be treated by nurse who has measles because they refused to get a vaccine. What about antibiotics? Would an anti vaxxers nurse refuse to give a patient antibiotic because in their experience it does not help? Just because you want to live in the dark age and assume miasma is causing disease dos not make it true. Have you thought maybe covid was caused by witches?

And you know what? If an antimask/ antivax nurse refused to wear a mask whilr in the OR she would be fired. Any anti-maskers who want to have her in the operating room while they are being operated on?

Healthcare professionals worked for months before a vaccine was even available. Patients did not catch Covid at the hospitals. Why? Because healthcare workers wore appropriate PPE. PPE if effective.

Yeah, a family friend also got COVID while in the hospital for something else. Thanksfully did not die but was in the hospital for an extra month recovering and had to put off physical therapy for the condition that she was in the hospital for. She is on medicare so I am sure the federal government had to pay ,much more for her care than they would have if she hadn't gotten covid.

I don't know much about medicare/ medicaid rules but I don't see why the fedearl government should not be allowed to put guardrails around where it sends its money. If they don't want to pay for are at hospitals where staff isn't vaccinated then why is the state allowed to overrule that? The hospitals can stop taking medicaid and medicare if this bothers them so much.

Supreme Court is going to rule in favor of the Biden Admin on the vaccine requirement for hospitals/medical facilities that accept federal funding and Medicare payments. They pretty clearly telegraphed that in oral arguments. And that would be in line with SC rulings on executive power over the past 20 years.

Youngkin is virtue signaling for his base. Too bad he's just going to waste taxpayer money on lawyers. You reap what you sow, Youngkin voters.
