You are part of the problem. This stance is what will cause harsher guidelines. It’s a few seconds of a Q-tip up the nose it’s not anything terrible. If your child is negative it’s even less of a deal.


COVID will never be eradicated. This whole asymptomatic testing regime will be going the way of the dodo bird soon. Society can't function with it.

Burden? A 30 sec test is a burden? As opposed to the burden of spreading a virus by closing your eyes, sticking your fingers in your ears and yelling "lalalalalaa".

Both of my kids missed a few days of school due to covid protocols despite never testing positive. We believed that they would be given opportunities to make up missed work but they were not- different schools, so not just a problem at one. We had to jump through hoops for a month to get our junior permission to retake a science test that she missed. That’s a burden, and a big one. I’d be all in like we were in the fall if the promises were true. As it is, if my kids are asymptomatic they won’t be tested and will be in school. If you don’t like the thought of that, thank the failed system.


It’s more like thanks covid. Grow up

We are being tested often at work. If I have symptoms at all I cancel appointments and get tested. PCR. Everyone in my office is doing the same thing. If more people took responsibility it would be less of a deal.
