BTDT 10000x trust me on this.
When my kids were younger & driving me up the wall, I would always think of those families who had lost children.
I imagine the horror of their tragic losses + imagined that they would have traded places w/me in less than a heartbeat.
Those thoughts made me appreciate things a little better.
Hope it does for you all too.

How astute.
Anonymous wrote:I said to myself today I can’t wait until my 3.5 year old is 18 and gets out of my house. I am 4 weeks postpartum with my second and sleep deprived and stuck inside and winter is garbage and husband has health issues suddenly and I just want people out of the house or me out of the house. I would love to scream and scream and scream and scream and scream so instead I’m posting here.

Lost power for 3 days due to snow.
Can't find all the kids winter gear and all they want to do is play outside. So much laundry and wet mess and complaining that their hiking boots are soaked through because IDK where the hell their snow boots and bibs are.
School closed all week.
In-laws at end of their 2 week holiday visit; DH had work travel and has left me with them all week.
Please, please, please tell me their flight WILL NOT BE DELAYED OR CANCELLED ON FRIDAY.
