Among other things, the emergency declaration formally loosens the accounting of student absences for those of us in MCPS. Maybe other counties as well?

Washington Post did a report on how he hid that the half-million Korean tests he got to great fanfare last year did not actually work. I'm the PP who wrote the above. To be clear, I couldn't care less what part of the political spectrum he's on. I am merely commenting on the fact that he's not, actually, that great at taking care of his constituents.
A lot of it seems to be pretending to care...

When asked about schools he said that overall, "The kids are doing pretty well." "Some are virtual but kids are safer in schools."

FYI, the emergency declaration PROTECTS HOSPITALS FROM BEING SUED FOR ADVERSE OUTCOMES, because they are operating at catastrophic standards. This was a request from hospitals themselves, who know they cannot provide adequate care. This affects you and me if we get into a car accident on icy roads, for example, or have a heart attack or stroke.


Hogan refuses to put in place measures that could reduce the number of people flooding hospitals, and this is one of the consequences.

He is acting extremely irresponsibly.

Right? If these are going to be the worst weeks bc it’s much more contagious- how does lunch happen safely? Spaced out indoor lunch with omicron doesn’t mitigate risk.
