There is no conflict but I feel we may be competing for guests. Our party would have been 1-3 and hers is 10-12.


My kids would be THRILLED to have a two-party day! Absolutely thrilled.

Yep, did this when my kids were younger. Same bounce house, went in the morning and the afternoon. Ds had so much fun!

D. Have a party Feb 26 weekend
E. Have a party the weekend prior and dad doesn’t attend (has a work trip)


Reschedule to end of Feb. my kids would be a nightmare by the end of a second party so we would not go. Plus invites a lot of comparisons…

Move the party (but not to Super Bowl Sunday). Move it to March if you have to. Attendance will be lower if you keep it as is, and kids may be partied out. When my DD was that age there were 3 (!) parties on one weekend (one morning Saturday, one afternoon Saturday, one morning Sunday). It was too much.

This happened to my daughter when she was five except the parties overlapped and the invites had gone out around the same time. None of her classmates came to her party; they all went to the other one. I had also invited a lot of family and family friends so my daughter didn’t even notice the missing classmates. Being an adult, I definitely noticed and felt terrible for her but didn’t say anything to make her notice or feel bad.
Turned out to be an awesome party anyway. Now she’s a teen and would be shocked if I told her.
