I love love love my peloton tread. Bought it last Nov, and my family was convinced it would just sit there. I use have been using it consistently since then several times a week. Great classes and music. Highly recommend!

I have the Peloton Tread+ and absolutely love it. I use it primarily for power walks and hikes, often for only 20 minutes, and can’t believe what an incredibly workout the walking classes are compared to the walking I do around my neighborhood (which I now realize is pretty leisurely in comparison lol). The variety of instructors and music selection is great. Lately it seems like the power walk classes have been incorporating more incline but the hikes obviously have a ton of incline in them. If you’re a walker and want a treadmill for lots of walking specifically it’s a great option.

Check out your basement ceiling height, the deck height, your height, and height recommended for a lot of these treadmills before you decide.

Nordic track 2450 - love it!! We got it on Black Friday or cyber Monday 2 or 3 years ago on Amazon and it was considerably on sale.

Never heard a treadmill described as boring?

OP here--I love peloton and my peloton bike. I just cannot get past the price increase on the tread. It annoys me that they raised the price without any justification. It's the same exact tread that was $800 less 6 months ago. Hard pass until they match the price again. I'm sure it's great though. I have read that it has a shorter run train than other treads, so I'm researching that too.

Bumping this thread since it's been about a year. I had my heart set on the Pelo tread (have had the bike for a few years and love, love love Peloton and its content) but I just cannot justify the recent $800 increase and spending nearly $4k for their tread. I would have bought it at 2495, but the arbitrary increase is just not worth it. So I've made peace with it and am in the market for a non-Pelo tread so I can get some runs in and mix it up with the bike. What does everyone recommend? I keep seeing ads for Nordic 2450 but it gets mixed reviews. Are there other Nordtrack treads that are good? I don't need the screen, etc. I plan to screencast my Pelo contact for my runs. TY!

If you can get a used Woodway within your price range, I'd jump on it. Speed and incline transitions are fast and smooth as butter.

I don't use it for weeks at a time when the weather is good. Still, I am afraid to run outisde in snow and ice and will use it for the new week.

Me too! Although I think mine is finally giving out.

The new treadmill? I know they said the original one was tops, then had to retract after recall.
