I can't tell I we are being cheap of if we are perfectly in line with our income. It would make no sense to me to buy a car that costs over $30k with our HHI, yet around the DMV I see tons and tons of people driving Audis, BMWs, Beamers, Tesla, Porsche, Lexus, Acura etc. How much are those people averaging do you think for HHI? I wouldn't feel comfortable trying to buy a BMW unless I made like $500-600k. Yes, I knek that the DMV is wealthy, but are there really THAT many people making $300k+ ? The US census data seems to suggest otherwise. So what's your perception for car brand and HHI? It would also help if you state whether you a consumer or sales pperson.
A mega church near my house was giving out free food for the holiday and the line was literally 1/3-1/2 mile long. As I was driving past the line, I noticed every single car was better than mine. You can't assume one based on the other OP. We make 350/drive 2004 honda odyssey w/ over 200k/2009 accord w/ 150k.
