This is OP - that is interesting bc Cloudy Bay and Oyster Bay are my go-to sauvignon blancs. I wanted something a bit less expensive since I was buying a lot
of wines and liquor for the day/dinner 😊.
Kim Crawford was an interesting choice given how cheap Oyster Bay is. And it at least $3 less per bottle than Kim Crawford.
Are you punking us OP? 😬
This is OP, and no I am not. Dcum posters get way too caught up in wanting to “catch” other posters in lies. My main point in posting was to say I more than did not like the KC wine, and I was surprised bc it was recommended by my local MoCo package store (and yes I know they aren’t called package stores here- I forget what the County owned stores are called but I’m not secretly posting from PA and pretending to be a local), which usually gives me good recs - I walked into the store a few days before Xmas and asked for a rec for a moderately priced sauv blanc to buy several bottles of for the dinner - I suppose I could have defaulted to OB but as I also said above I often want to try new ones especially before a festive fun dinner like I was planning for the holiday. I named CB and OB as my go-tos when someone pointed out the different in taste with NZ sauv blanks vs CA ones. Have I passed your test now

. As other posters have said, it is interesting to hear how wines taste and are preferred by different people.
