It was a much rougher neighborhood back then, but now it's really nice and there are so many families with kids the same age as mine. MRE is a good school that we are very happy with and has great teachers. Neighbors here are very close, it's like living in a small town where everyone always waves at you, even if they don't know you. Not looking to move any time soon, but am curious what my house may be worth.
Whoever renovated that house must have been European, where they tend to have the washer/dryer in the kitchen. I wouldn't like that personally.
LOL that they are European. It’s just because they planned poorly.
It's common in Europe to have the washer and dryer in the kitchen
Yeah. That’s not what this is.
Meh, I wouldn’t mind it for myself.
Most people do not want laundry in their kitchens. In a mudroom space? yes. On the bedroom floor? Yes. Kitchen? No way. Laundryrooms always are full of clothes and messy. No way would I want that in my kitchen.

Desperation on the part of buyers. It’s ugly
No, not desperation.
This house is .3 miles from the DC line. Mount Rainier is SUPER safe in terms of police. Zoned for MtR Elementary, which is an acceptable elementary school and there are several affordable private schools nearby. It's a big house and the flip is decent.
DH and I offered $650k for this home, but were beat out. It's a great buy imho.
It's a terrible flip. It's desperation at this point. It went for over asking, I believe.
