There was a news account of a black widow crawling out of a package of grapes from Costco. Soak grapes well before using. They are hands-down the dirtiest fruit. It grosses me out when I see people open up grape packages and sample them.

Anonymous wrote:It’s probably a potato bug. I used to work for a all-natural fruit bar company and, despite our best efforts, sometimes a pit or leaf or (god forbid) a bug, would end up in a bar. We would always apologize profusely and offer free replacement or a refund. We also logged the package (lot number) and purchase information.
