Meh. I went to TJ and I have it listed on LinkedIn (but not on my "official" resume). I get lots of cold calls from recruiters due, in part, to the TJ thing.

That tracks, I know a lot of TJ grads and private school grads who look for similar pedigree.

The CEO is Notorious for fraud and embezzlement of funds. This is his way of covering his assets.

Also, if I worked for a dot com, I would expect this sort of frivolous reduction in force to happen frequently. Cause young CEOs (who apparently have trouble articulating their thoughts, like this guy with his halting delivery) don’t know what they’re doing.

The CEO saying “um” all the time and saying he will try not to get into his billions icing on the cake.

Oh and how they were laying off because they had gotten more efficient and productive, as was also mentioned on Equity. Basically people did their job well, now they are done and gone. This is Netflix slide deck inspired.

On the TC Equity podcast, they mentioned that the DAY before the company had celebrated closing another round of funding and that had about $1B cash on balance sheet.

And then layoffs. Wonder if it was partly to clawback unvested stocks.
