If you want a little nicer house I’d look at houses zoned for Oakland Terrace or Flora Singer elementary schools. Both go up to Einstein and $700K would get you a renovated/expanded house in the 2K+ square footage range. Of course, the houses like that don’t come up super often, and go quickly…

The only school of those I’d send a kid to is Wooten.
