My DD and I both feel this sometimes. I can sometimes work through it by trying to flatten the image in my mind so it's just 2d. For some reason, 3d patterns make me think of boils or some illness. Gag. I don't mind just a pattern of spots that are flat.Anonymous wrote:I have it too. I didn't know what it was and was a biology teacher and talked to one of my colleagues about how spongey bone made me nauseous. Years later he sent me an article in the washington post about the condition. Made complete sense. Ever see those things in potpourri, the things that have seeds missing? Ugh. Just thinking about it makes me feel sick. Don't get me started on honeycombs...

(I am fifty-two.)
Meaning any + every time I see a cluster of organized (or unorganized!) bumps or holes, I immediately feel nauseous/creeped out or just really itchy + uncomfortable.
My worst moment was when I was watching a Michael B. Jordan action hero movie (cannot remember the title).
The scene where his skin is covered in a cluster of organized bumps on his chest made me leave immediately.
Seeing holes on a sponge 🧽 or even a sugar comb freak me out as do a beehive and bedbug bites.
The worst is of course the “Surinam Toad.” 😳
That toad who gives birth through a cluster of holes on its back.
Please….
Anyone else have this weird disorder??
Thanks for mentioning the damn toad. Gonna have nightmares tonight.
