"It’s not often that you find such important relationships in such a short amount of time, laboring in a host of complicated circumstances, but indeed that has been my experience here in FCPS. The wisdom, commitment, perseverance of students, staff, and community has been remarkable to be a part of. Someone once said it's important that we ensure that the main thing is the main thing and circumstances in my family have called me to revisit how I move through the world in this time and space.
The grace and compassion that I have been greeted with as I’ve shared my decision to leave the organization reaffirms the depth of care that is in this place. It fills me with gratitude for the opportunities afforded by this experience and the relationships we’ve built. With that, I want to wish you all deeper resolution to the work that nurtures and develops students, stronger bonds that connect people, and evolving clarity of how profoundly right it is to honor all."
Why do "equity officers" use so many words to say absolutely nothing? They all share the same flowery, ridiculous expressions. I can't roll my eyes hard enough.

That was such a long, confusing email. Brabrand needs a refresher course on communication.
Brabrand has been sending rambling disasters out since before COVID. Dude cannot communicate.
Lisa Williams is interesting. How is the equity lottery class of TJ fairing. Normally, the first semester (really the first year) is pretty easy. Are they having a large number of drop backs or are the teachers revolting over the need for math remediation?
The need for math remediation is not new to TJ. They've had this issue before with kids who were hyper accelerated in the past. They can handle it.

Anonymous wrote:When will all the TJ complainers get over the admissions change? Your kid will be ranked higher at their base school and might end up at a better school than UVA. There really is a silver lining for the kids. Move on folks.

The chief equity officer. Most famous for doing the TJHSST admission changes
What a mistake. Take the premier science and technology charter-magnet school in the country and dumb it down.
I’m happy she’s gone now. But now she has a new opportunity to once again ruin another STEM magnet school somewhere in the country in the name of “equity”.

Great but the woman who is replacing Ms. Williams as Chief Equity Officer is just going to use her new position to sell her sex enhancing products. Buy $1000 of Body Magic and you too can be guaranteed entrance to TJHSST!
