Agreed! And Enstrom toffee.

Yes to both of these. A friend recently sent me peanut brittle from Seeโ€™s and it was incredible. I had no idea peanut brittle could be that good!

Are you assuming there's a maid to receive this any time at their house? What a stupid gift.

This comes packed in dry ice. Itโ€™s fine to sit out for a bit. I got it last year. Yum.

My DH is a client and gets expensive wines & Johnny walker blue label (I donโ€™t know anything about whisky but my DH appreciated it).

What's the deal with Murray's cheese? It's owned by Kroger and almost all of the specialty cheeses at our Kroger owned grocery store are now Murray's brand, and every one we've tried has been disappointing. Did it used to be something special?

OP. we always just did Harry and David for business gifts (I also helped out my husband with stuff like this for his business for several years). The pears are legit good and the other stuff is always a hit with someone in the family. I know DCUM looks down on it, but it works in a pinch. For certain clients we would do an expensive bottle of booze, but shipping can be problematic depending on the state where you're sending it.

Murray's must have been bought by Kroger recently, then. The flagship in Greenwich an NYC institution. The website has some fancy cheese baskets that are really delicious. Harry & David was cool in the 90s but their selection of items in their basket hasn't evolved and the snacks are cheap and not tasty and their fruit is atrocious.
