This is already policy.

In June, the Board of Education resolved to apply the same policy to students who are currently 10th and 11th graders.
The superintendent was supposed to have reported back to the board regarding "feasibility, issues, and possible timeline" by 12/2021.
So there is not yet any mechanism in place to implement the policy. But the policy has already in principle been approved by the BofE.

It's a done deal.
Why don’t our affected kids know?
Although I was aware of the policy, I also came across it on their website a few weeks ago. It's not like they haven't made this perfectly clear to anyone who wants to know.
They should have sent an email out to everyone. We didn’t receive one. Can you please post the supposed change in policy? I can’t find it anywhere.
We have not heard anything about it. DD has all As in middle school classes, but most aren’t weighted as honors so they bring down weighted GPA. Are you saying they can still be on transcript but not bring down GPA?
wait a freaking second. Are you telling me that one can drop their middle school language classes from their GPA so it doesn't bring down the weighted GPA? Same with not including middle school Geometry grades?

She got a C semester grade?
Yes.
