In the 60s and 90s everyone had skinny minny, micro eyebrows.
In the 80s it was all about Brooke Shield's bushy eyebrows.
It's cyclical. My mother continually told me not to do anything with my eyebrows (ala Brooke Shields) because over-plucking in the 60s caused hers to never fully grow back in. I'm in my 50s and this happened to many of my friends that aggressively removed eyebrow hair in the 90s fad/trend.
Thyroid conditions, cancer, sleeping on one side for decades and normal aging can all cause eyebrows to thin, get patchy or disappear. This sounds more tempting than microblading or permanent tattooing which always ends up looking creepy.
