No real mistakes this year, which is a first for me ( and likely a fluke never to be repeated). The scalloped oysters bubbled over a bit so I’ll have to clean the oven at some point, but that was the worst of it.

Send DH to Wegman’s.

Gasp! Perish the thought. I’m going to do it, and then I’m going to have a whiskey and a bath.

The leftovers will probably be perfect. Mashed potatoes tend to dry up overnight.

The turkey we bought was too bulky to fit our oven. I ended up removing the legs and part of the breast. I cooked them separately in a fig juice and turned out to be a success.

I’m sure everything was fine pp’s. A meal you don’t have to cook, is always fine.

Overcooked the turkey a little bit. It's not terrible, but not the best one I've ever made. Everything else was good though.

Turkey was bad. Got a Koch farms one from moms but it must have been too young. Extremely thin skin, no fat, sinewy

None so far. No guests. Minimal cleaning. Alternate menu is cooking as expected.

Good luck to everyone else!

Still waiting to bake my sea-salt and herb skillet rolls, so those could be a disaster as well, since I’ve never made them before.

Recipe please if the skillet rolls come out well!

Had gastric sleeve surgery on April. Miscalculated how much I could eat and I’m seriously miserable. Ugh.
