OP here. His schedule is
Feedings - 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, and 6pm, 7:30pm, and 10pm.
Naps: 8:15-10am, 11:30-1pm, 2:30-4pm, 5:30-6pm. Bedtime at 8. Wakes up at 7am.
He was a mess for the first 8 weeks because he rarely showed signs of being tired until it was too late and then would cry for 30 minutes while I tried to get him down. He was always fussy. I read a book and realized I was keeping him awake too long. I started following wake windows and everything fell into place. He is a much happier baby now. He is 9.5 weeks old and has been following this routine for about two weeks. It may change but at least I know what to do now.

Yep
This is the loon who wrote about sleep training and her Snoo earlier. She had a poor friend who she sometimes let use the Snoo, and when her friend called her out on sleep-training an 8 week old, OP got upset.
OP here. What? I have never wrote about this and I would never call my friends “ poor”. That’s just distasteful. We don’t let anyone use our Snoo for hygiene and safety reasons.
What hygiene reasons are those?
Not OP but are you dense? Isn’t it common practice do not let someone else’s baby sleep in the place your baby does? We used to let our friends baby nap in the crib but always washed the sheets right away. That’s just common hygiene.

OP here. I think I used the wrong term. I put him on a schedule and helped him put himself to sleep but we don’t let him cry. I used to have to rock him for 30 minute before being able to put him down, but now I put him in the Snoo or crib and he falls asleep on his own most of the time. He will usually fuss for a minute and then goes to sleep. We don’t let him cry.
This is not sleep training. This is following baby’s cues and putting him on a routine. The routine above that you mentioned is pretty typical for his age. Tell your husband to keep him up for a nap and then deal with a crying, overtired baby. I’m sure he won’t say anything about it again.
