I dated a girl that grew up with horses and had one at the Yacht club and it was a massive turnoff. Way, way too expensive of a hobby. I make high six figures and still that's a crazy habit out of my league.

Because they can't sail, tell jokes, play lacrosse, or make a martini. What good are they? I have a car (classic Porsche) if I need to get somewhere.

Agree. I am the UMC girl with horses whose husband loves me and tolerates the the horses but does not actually like them.

Horses are for the rich. Real UMC, not DCUM UMC, are not that wealthy to afford horses.
