IUI worked for my sister. And on the NCIVF issue, my husband and I used it for our frozen embryos. I did not care what it did for their stats, but I wanted to give each embryo a chance and not leave any behind, frozen, interminably.

Just learned Dr. Sacks at Columbia Fertility Associates offers Natural Cycle IVF. Glad to have found this option.

I know NCIVF doesn't work for everybody, but I think it is a great option for people who want to go that route. In my case, our primary issue was azoospermia and I was in my early-mid 30s during our cycles. We did a total of 4 cycles and have two healthy children. So I am disappointed that this no longer an option for people in this area.

I know several couples who got pregnant with IUI. It worked for them and it was a money-saver to boot. There are times when it’s appropriate to start with IUI and some people just prefer starting with a lower level of intervention. I can’t speak to NCIVF.

IUI is a waste of time and so is NCIVF for most people.
