It is a lot more powerful than my old blender, PP, and can do a lot more, which is why I'm asking. Thanks for your incredibly helpful reply!!!

Didn’t your Vitamix come with a recipe book? Mine did. And can’t you Google?

Aren't you sometimes curious about what other people's favorites are?

Smoothies! Yes that may seem obvious but they just make them so PERFECTLY smooth and creamy. I was staying at a vacation home this summer and forgot my vitamix and made due with their ninja and was disgusted by how hard and grainy it was. I put cacao nibs and they stayed pretty much completely solid and unground up. After 10 minutes of being on the counter the smoothie had completely "seperated" with all the fiber going to the top and liquid to the bottom. It was so gross I couldnt finish it, and i blended it for probably ten minutes in an attempt to get it smooth like my vitamix.

I make this recipe in my Vitamix and it comes out incredibly smooth. Bonus the recipe is really easy and the soup is delicious (and I'm not event a big cauliflower fan)

I made the smoothest beet gazpacho all summer long. Yum.
