We haven't received a letter yet. If we don't get one within the next few days, what do I do? Call the school or the FCPS AAP office??? We already have DC's WISC scores so we could prepare an appeal quickly, but I'd rather have time to get the GBRS score and think about it, etc.
I would call the Advanced Academics Resource Teacher at your school and ask for advice.
This is a good idea to prepare the appeal. I went thru this and able to get daughter in--we used WISC. Fo what's is worth, we were told that you need a WISC in the 135+ range which turned out to be true. Another family we know the kid had 132 and wasn't accepted--ours had 140.

If you mean the Center-based program, then yes, if a file was submitted for your child to the screening committee (either a parent referral or child was in the screening pool) and your child was found ineligible, you will be notified of that decision and your right to appeal.
Do you get a letter if your child is NOT accepted to the Level 4 program?
