Any recommendations? Thank you!
You can stop looking because there isn’t any good Chinese food in Bethesda. And the pizza options are even worse.

Such a tiresome, dumb response.
But umm... it's definitely a true response. All the legit Chinese food is in Rockville or NoVa or some random parts of DC

Dumplings and Beyond in Glover park - DC
Da Hong Pao in Logan circle - DC
Rockville - bobs Shanghai, and countless others - you can check yelp
Asian Bakery in Rockville has very good Chinese baked goods like pineapple bread, jelly roll cakes, etc. it’s in the same shopping center as a great Pho place and Thai restaurant.

You might not care about this, but Chinese, Thai and Japanese are VERY different cuisines. A restaurant that makes all three is bound not to have authentic recipes. It's one thing to create Asian-fusion dishes and call them what they are. Quite another to pretend they can cook any type of Asian cuisine.
Yes, I’m VERY aware of that, and am laughing at the thought of Bethesda as a destination for authentic Chinese food. If I’m in the mood for authentic Chinese food, I ask one of my Chinese friends if they want to come with me to one of their favorites in Rockville so they can order off the Chinese only portion of the menu for the table. Q by Peter Chang is good in Bethesda, but pricier than most of the other options. Their food is so much better in person than takeout as well.
IMO, non-authentic Chinese food can be very tasty too, and I think Bambu offers fresher and tastier versions of it than Foong Lin, Mayflower, or some of the other Bethesda options on here, though each restaurant named here has some good things on their menu. Their non-authentic Thai food is good too, and better than most of the other non-authentic Thai places in Bethesda. They are not the best for sushi or Japanese items.
