Being brought into a home with obviously overbearing family to get gawked at and questioned to death is a big no for most kids this age. Awkward to say the least. Have they just been together since the start of this school year? If so, they are still sorting things out themselves.

No!. This is not for you to determine, OP. This is for your son or daughter to handle. If they want and meed for you to meet their SO , you will. Until that happens step all the way back, this is part of them leaving the nest.
