My 3.5 year old only does it and every time I stop and have him ask politely and tell him no one likes it, I tried telling him people will kick him out their house or that there’s germs or even took his food so he would see how it feels. Please please tell me how to fix this so you don’t think badly of my kid bc I also hate it.
Does he eat in preschool?
we pulled him from daycare at barely 2 when pandemic started and has been with us at home since so it’s all relaying on us. I will keep trying but just know We’re trying not to raise a spoiled kidAnonymous wrote:I really dislike kids who are destructive to stuff. My kid has this one friend who is always breaking stuff when she comes over. Maybe she’s just accident prone, but it just seems like she just doesn’t care. Last time she was here she drew on my breakfast table. It washed off, but still annoying.
Teach him impulse control in many areas, not just good. So, just because he sees something and he wants it, he’s not always allowed to have it. A good example might be to bake cupcakes with him for dinner, but bake them in the morning. Make it about the fun of baking and frosting, etc. Then, keep them out of sight until dinner. Regular situations like that will teach him more patience and impulse control. Such valuable gifts to give him.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:kids who try to grab food that I’m eating
