That's a terrifying thought.
I didn't vote for him, but from my own research, he seems to walk a very fine line.
He accepted Trump's endorsement & help, but also said that Biden won the election fair & square.
He doesn't want mandates, but he's pro-vaccine.
I'm not sure how much of what he said was to get him elected, and how much he'll REALLY commit too.
He ran on the platform of keeping CRT out of schools -- well, CRT is offered only in college and NOT in public schools.
What can they do to him if he doesn't stand by his promises?
Not vote for him for governor again? lol.
We know that's a one term deal, so?
Speaking of CRT, this is the kind of ignorance that he pandered to -- a direct play out of the Quanon playbook, instill TERROR & FEAR into their hearts of their base to get them to tow the line... and idiots like this fell for it over and over again (even though this moron had no idea what it was that he was "told" to fear).
It's amazing how conservatives call libs sheep, when this is their entire base... that is shameful.
Anyone who's ever taken a civics class knows that the governor has no power in public schools.
He can try, and he can threaten, but just look at how well that worked for Hogan in Maryland.
He was intensely committed to starting MD schools after Labor Day, to get that extra week of revenue at the MD beaches... and as we know, Hogan REAALLLLLY dug his heels in on that one.
He went as far as to threaten to cut funding to schools who didn't start after Labor Day.
He got his way for a few summers, but then the school districts fought back and it didn't work out for him.
I don't see pot going ANYWHERE, op.
