OP we only need after school care 8 days a month because we both do shift work hours. It’s Awesome for our kids. I think it’s fine for your DH to meet up with the nannies at the park or wherever some of the time, and do his own thing with them some of the time too.

The aftercare at my kid’s school is horrible, too.
