I agree boot cut is more in, however think about what shoes you will wear. I was just out shopping for pants and tried on a ton. Anything wide in the thigh/crotch area adds 20lbs instantly to any body type! I’ve worked hard to get skinny again after having kids so ended up buying one new pair of Paige black skinny pants. It’s all that was in my budget for now and they look awesome. Make me look skinnier than anything else I tried on. Another thing to add is this light denim trend is not helping matters. Think again about other fabrics/colors. I find it makes most outfits downshift to more casual.

I never stopped.

Vuori makes a pair and I’ve decided that’s the cue I need to wear them again.

Not OP but, for me, a twenty pound fluctuation would show show up almost entirely in boobs/arms and thighs/calves. It takes a lot to make my waist size shift.

Def. go with the bootcut. Skinny is out, even among the kids who actually could look good in them

I've lost 20 lbs. I want to lose a little more so that's also why I'm hesitant to keep both.

How tall are you ... I lost 20 lbs and still wear the same size.

Lol what? 20 pounds on me is like a 5 pants size difference. You must be quite large.

No need to be an asshole, teeny tiny mini botchy lady. Bodies are shaped very differently. For example, I'm 5'2" and am quite overweight. I wear the same size as my 5'1" BFF who is athletic and has very little fat on her body (girl is all muscle).

PP#1 - 20lbs = 2 sizes down, generally. how is that possible that you're still wearing the same size?

PP#2 - don't be an *ss

Skinny jeans look best on me, so that's what I'll continue to wear.

I have a pair from 2002 that I never stopped wearing!

I miss them! Wish I had kept a pair.

Bootcut. They’re back!

Bootcut. Very few women can actually pull off skinny jeans well especially when they are heavy in the thighs and hips. It doesn’t look good unless you’re lean all over.
