To the contrary, much of her fame—pre-country music and post country music —, is built around this image of a frail, hyper emotional, delicate, fragile , skinny, blonde ingenue who is perpetually wronged through no fault of her own by men—usually former paramours—and women , depicted as most likely jealous of her.

It’s a red dress that has ruffles. Her album title was “Red.” I guess it could be a partial troll, but it’s not really explicit. She is promoting her album. Normally with a troll you are also making fun of something that someone else did too and it’s not clear to me what swift would be making fun of. Does she think the dress was ridiculous? So she is also wearing a ridiculous dress, but promoting her album at the same time?

I don’t think either of these dresses are particularly ridiculous.

She started out as a country music singer. Name one out country or even pop star who is actually huge. Even Clay Aiken has disappeared. So has Lambert.
