A year and a half? How do you get that math?
Are you including the summer? And hybrid?
Yes. Hybrid was a joke and you know it.
Not for my kids, it wasn't. My kids thrived. It was probably one of the best years we have ever had as a family. The kids learned a lot because all of the bozo behavior problems weren't online and the teachers were rocking it. Plus we were all a lot more relaxed because the school schedule was so easy. It was a pita for my husband and me because we had to change our work schedules pretty dramatically but there is no denying that our kids thrived during hybrid.
That's nice for you. It was horrible for those of us with kids in K and 1st.

In all my years of voting I haven't ever voted out of party line. But this year I will be in the SB race. In our local SB race, I am so turned off by the behavior of my fellow Democrats on our SB that I will probably be voting for their Republican opponents. And I am definitely not voting for our current Democratic mayor (although I am not sure if I will vote for an opponent or do a write-in for Daffy Duck). I don't know which came first but either way the outcome is a hot mess for me.
BS any one Democratic is not voting Republican
No that would be two. Count me in. I am voting straight republican. And there are many more.
+1 Same here. Never thought I would here we are.

Anonymous wrote:I’ll be shocked if Ilya Shapiro doesn’t win in FCCPS. I’ve voted Dem forever but I voted for him. The SB has 7 seats—one person can’t change any policy but he can force the others to be more open and have conversations in public rather than behind closed doors. I was really turned off in the last forum when one candidate said she believes all tough conversations should happen behind the scenes and that the SB shouldn’t have those conversations or criticize the Super in public or at meetings.

Anonymous wrote:No. VA is one of the few states having a gov election this year, and at times is looked upon as a reflection of US elections so I don't think the coverage is all that unusual. That being said, I'm in Arlington. The school board will NOT change drastically if a republican is elected gov. That's not our demographic in Arl. Can't speak for more diverse counties.

LCPS school board has 3 resignations over the rape coverup and lying to the public on record.
Question is begged: when is superintendent Scotty Z submitting his resignation?
